6 yıldır kayıp olan üniversite öğrencisi Gülistan Doku soruşturmasında, aralarında dönemin Tunceli Valisi Tuncay Sonel'in oğlu Mustafa Türkay Sonel'in de bulunduğu 10 kişi tutuklandı. "Kasten öldürme" suçlamasıyla tutuklanan Mustafa Türkay Sonel adliyeden çıkarılırken, Doku'nun yakınları protesto gösterisinde bulundu.
Soruşturma kapsamında eski vali Tuncay Sonel gözaltına alınırken, valinin koruması Şükrü Eroğlu ve hastane kayıtlarını sildiği iddia edilen dönemin devlet hastanesi başhekimi de dahil olmak üzere soruşturmadaki şüpheli sayısı 15'e yükseldi. 10 Arrested in Gulistan Doku Investigation
In the investigation regarding university student Gulistan Doku, who has been missing for 6 years, 10 people have been arrested, including Mustafa Türkay Sonel, the son of the former Governor of Tunceli, Tuncay Sonel. As Mustafa Türkay Sonel was being escorted from the courthouse following his arrest on charges of "intentional homicide," Doku’s relatives staged a protest against him.
While former Governor Tuncay Sonel remains in custody, the number of suspects in the case has risen to 15, including the governor's bodyguard, Şükrü Eroğlu, and the former chief physician of the state hospital, who is accused of deleting medical records. The Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is examining allegations of murder, destruction of evidence, and abuse of public influence, aided by 700 hours of newly discovered security footage (MOBESE) and secret witness testimonies.
