Uluslararası haber ajanslarının bildirdiğine göre, Hürmüz Boğazı’ndan petrol tankerlerinin geçişi, İsrail’in Lübnan’a yönelik gerçekleştirdiği son hava saldırılarının ardından tamamen askıya alındı. Hafta başında ABD ve İran arasında varılan iki haftalık geçici ateşkes sonrası, İran’ın izniyle boğazdan sınırlı sayıda gemi geçişine izin verilmişti.
Ancak Fars Haber Ajansı, Çarşamba öğleden sonra itibarıyla durumun değiştiğini duyurdu. Ajansın haberinde şu ifadelere yer verildi:
"İsrail'in ateşkes şartlarını ihlal ederek Lübnan'a saldırmasının ardından, Hürmüz Boğazı'ndan tanker geçişi Çarşamba öğleden sonra tamamen durdurulmuştur."
Küresel piyasalarda petrol fiyatlarının bu gelişmeyle birlikte yeniden dalgalanması bekleniyor.

Maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz has been halted again following Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
According to international sources, oil tanker transits through the Strait of Hormuz have been completely suspended following Israel's recent attacks on Lebanon. Earlier this week, a limited number of vessels had been granted permission by Iran to pass through the strategic waterway following a two-week ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran.
However, the Fars News Agency reported a total shutdown as of Wednesday afternoon. The agency stated:
"Tanker transits through the Strait of Hormuz were completely halted on Wednesday afternoon. This occurred after Israel violated the ceasefire terms and launched attacks on Lebanon."
Global oil prices are expected to face renewed volatility following this disruption in one of the world's most vital energy chokepoints.
