Following heavy rainfall that hit Istanbul for nearly four days starting on October 14, 2026, social media claims suggested that a landslide occurred on the land of Galatasaray's RAMS Park stadium in Sarıyer Aslantepe, causing cracks in parts of the structure.
In response to the allegations, technical teams from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change conducted an on-site inspection at RAMS Park Stadium and the adjacent Aslanvadi Project construction site located below the stadium.
The Ministry released the following findings:
RAMS Park Stadium: Detailed technical inspections confirmed no structural defects or damages within the stadium.
Aslanvadi Project Site: No adverse conditions or structural safety issues were found in the construction area beneath the stadium.
Relocation and Demolition Claims: There is no official decision or information regarding the demolition or relocation of RAMS Park Stadium.
